Elementary Summer Program
Join us for a summer filled with exploration and fun at Bellevue Montessori’s Elementary Summer Program. We are offering three sessions Starting the Monday following the last day of school. Check our Summer Session descriptions to learn more. This program is open to current students, former students, siblings of currently enrolled families and students enrolled for the school year. Elementary Program (6-12 years old). Spaces are limited.
This summer at the Elementary Campus features hands-on experiences in engineering, woodworking, Claymation, cooking, art and drama. Each week, is an opportunity for your child to learn something new while being creative and having fun!
Clay animation specialist to be announced soon! The first week of Session I features the Clay Animation. Our Elementary students will make their own Claymation short videos. This is one of our student’s favorite weeks! The other two weeks, Mrs. Haugen will be leading explorations of food and art. This session is sure to be filled with creativity and learning!
Bridge Building! During week 1, a specialist will guide your child through an exploration of bridges. The children will be able to build their own bridges and learn the scientific concepts behind bridge building. In weeks 2 & 3, Mrs. Haugen will continue looking at different kinds of bridges as the children make an in depth study of these marvels of engineering. Materials will be provided for the children to experience building different kinds of bridges each week.
Weeks one and two, the children will be focusing on the theater and creating their own plays. During week 3, we are bringing back Mr. Meyer for woodworking. This year, each child will be making a Trebuchet and learning about how this simple machine works.
School Day 9:00 – 2:50 $1,200 per 3 week session
Full Day 7:30 – 6:00 $1,500 per 3 week session
